‘The Cast’

A month-long chance to catch a series of cast-iron animals before they take up permanent residence in Meanwood Urban Valley Farm. Originally carved in polystyrene by a group of mixed-ability, disabled adults as part of a project by Pyramid of Arts in Leeds – the pieces have been expertly transformed into cast iron by Hargreaves Foundry, Halifax. Thanks to Bryan Tweddle and Sandy Holden for facilitating this show. Project sponsors include Leeds Council, Arts Council England & Pyramid of Arts.
